Michelle Malkin: The rules of engagement
Washington Times ^ | 6/16/07 | Michelle Malkin

As you follow the debate over the Bush-Kennedy immigration bill, keep this cardinal rule in mind: 99.99 percent of the lawmakers who promise you they'll ensure the deportation of anyone who doesn't follow their new "guest-worker" regulations are either (A) lying or (B) completely clueless.

Rule No. 2: Anyone who plays the Enforcement equals Kicking-Down-Doors-And-Depriving-Babies-of-Mother's-Milk card (yes, that's you, Geraldo Rivera) is either (A) lying or (B) completely clueless.

As I've reported many times over the last several years, the nation's deportation abyss is governed by one reality: "It ain't over 'til the alien wins." Immigration lawyers and ethnic activists run a massive, lucrative industry whose sole objective is to help illegal aliens and convicted criminal visa holders evade deportation for as long as possible. Entry into this country should be a privilege, not a right. The open borders lobby has turned that principle on its head.

Look no further than New York, where four convicted criminal aliens -- a child molester, two killers and a racketeer -- just won a federal lawsuit to remain in the country after all being ordered deported. The stunning decision from the U.S. 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, Blake v. Carbone, came down on June 1 as the "shamnesty" debate was bubbling in Washington.

I consider the revived Senate bill (S-1348 or what ever number the follow on bill will have)giving Amnesty to ILLEGAL ALIENS, and the actions of the President and Senate
akin to an Islamic Honour killing of a daughter who is thought to be wayward or not following the path of her father and brothers.

The frightened girl(the American taxpaying public) has recoiled from what is bad and threatening. Actions with dire results already known and disputed only by the uncaring, the stupid, or those involved in the conspiracy to visit tragedy on this nation at any cost, i.e. the father and brothers who pay no attention to the girl.
They tell her they know better, and although besieged by mail, faxes, telephone calls, the callous and unswerving Paterfamilias demand adherence to the line drawn by the dominant males.
The girl cries out for help and it is ignored, as the police ignore cries for help from young Islamic women, whose fears are ignored, until they are found in the role of victim of murder, at the hands of their family.
We are THAT young Islamic girl about to become the victim of a crime no less deadly for our national interests than being strangled, cut up and stuffed in a suitcase; hidden under a stairs. I wish I were able to be more sanguine about this but I cant wait for history to crucify these excremental political hacks and thugs. Besides, if a true history of this battle to save our national culture is written, it most likely wont be read in English, or by anyone with more than a third grade education. We are in the same situation with many ignoring the dangers and impending disaster of the diseased legislation.
My efforts at calling Senators yesterday met with either fast busy or recordings and in some cases, casual indifference.
We, the American citizenry are in big trouble with a selfish and corrupt Senate and a frightful future based on intentional misfeasance.

He is a militant ethnic activist with a chip on his shoulder the size of a Buick.

He is a militant ethnic racist activist with delusions of grandeur, particularly when it comes to his sexual peccadillo's, and a chip on his shoulder the size of a Buick.

There, now that's fixed.....

JERRY RIVERS (aka “Geraldo Rivera)

Wrong about Al Capone’s vault

Wrong about ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

This clown disproves the old adage that even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Jerry Rivers – or whatever he calls himself now -- is WRONG ALL THE TIME!

Heads up!

House rejects security fence at the border

The U.S. House of Representatives shot down a proposal Friday by U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz, that would have built an 854-mile, double layered security fences along the Mexican border.

Franks noted that only 13 miles of a Mexican border fence approved last year have been built and that the fencing is needed to improve border security.

“With over 4,000 people crossing our southern border illegally every day, our border remains one of our country’s most critical national security vulnerabilities. In order to carry out an act of terrorism, a militant Islamist simply needs a porous border and a dangerous weapon,” said Franks in a statement.

Franks represents Glendale, Peoria, Sun City and Kingman.

The fence plan failed by 272 to 149 votes. Most Democrats (including Arizona congressional members Harry Mitchell, Gabrielle Giffords , Ed Pastor and Raul Grijalva) voted against the border fence plan.

Most Republicans (including Franks and fellow Arizona Reps. Rick Renzi and John Shadegg) voted for the comprehensive fence plan.

Mesa GOP Congressman Jeff Flake crossed party lines and vote against the border fence bill.

The House did approve an overall homeland and border security appropriations bill Friday. Mitchell said he backed that bill because it allocates federal money to hire more Border Patrol Agents and resources to deport violent illegal immigrant criminals.

“Deporting those illegal immigrants who have committed violent crimes is absolutely imperative to keeping our communities safe,” Mitchell said in a statement. Mitchell represents Tempe and Scottsdale.

The state’s four Democratic representatives and Renzi voted for the final bill. Flake, Franks and Shadegg opposed.

The votes could be a precursor to a big political fight over immigration reforms, a guest worker program and how to deal with the 12 million illegal immigrants already in the U.S.

Thanks...

I will never understand that whole situation. The mother died getting her son to freedom, and then we had a President who sent him right back to a tyrannical government.

It was an absolute travesty of justice, and a slap in the face to Elian's dead mother.

And for the clintons, who's so called shouts of defending the rights of women and children... well... The actions speak for themselves.

They probably bought those lists of signatures at the same place where they buy the phony Social Security cards.

I didn't think of that, but you are probably correct.

Now, why in the hell would these Senators pay attention to a bunch of phony signatures - while they are IGNORING the thousands of phone calls, letters, e-mails, and faxes that are reported to be pouring into Capitol Hill?

Both O’Reilly and Fox should keep him off the O’Reilly show.

‘’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’

Fair and balanced! We don’t need to suppress this dolt. He exposes his shallowness every time he speaks. Just like Alan Combs, he defines the boarders of absurdity and by so doing clarifies the debate. In his calmer moments Geraldo can be made to understand the logic of a position. His problem is that he never abandons his heartfelt “greater good” socialism even though he intellectually knows that it is totally unreasoned wrongheaded position. It simply makes him “feel good” to be the champion of the downtrodden. He exposes himself as a liberal clown on every Fox appearance, while Michelle and even O’Reilly intellectually "carve him up " like the proverbial thanksgiving turkey.

JH2—thanks again for a gem. Michelle is a treasure. She sliced and diced Geraldo on O’Reilly Thursday night finer than a Ronco product.

We have to engage next week—more calls, more emails, more talking to people. This is our country we are fighting for.

We owe it to the generation of 1776 that stood up to the greatest power known to that time—the British Empire. And won! Those farmers who stood in a line against the Redcoats on April 19, 1775 in Lexington and Concord had no guarantee they would see the sun set that day or see their beloved wives, sons and daughters again.

Yet, they stood.

All we are facing are some cowardly, elitist weasels in Washington, DC.

Well, next week is OUR Lexington and Concord.

See you all on the Green.
