Frankly I’m more than a little tired of being threatened by the idiots in Washington.
McCain threatens that there will be riots if we enforce the law and now Lott threatens talk radio and by extension, us.
MANY of us wanted Lott gone LONG before his Thurmond comment.

I say we deport the whole Lott of them, well at least most of the Senators anyhow.
We live in a feudal form of government. We are serfs paying tribute to lords, and they don’t care about us.
Maybe, my memory is faulty on this count, but I don't believe Rush was defending Lott on this. If I remember correctly, he was happy to see him removed from leadership.
But my real beef with this transcript was with this comment:

Maybe 20 years ago it was, but Rush needs to get with the times. The internet is the greatest democratic forum in the world. Practically anyone can participate, and you don't have to get past a call screener to do so.
Arrogance and contempt from our elected officials. What else is new?
Lott is “talking” about A—hole Mike Savage. Savage claims he is an American Loving Conservative. After his campaign in the 2006 election, he got the American hating Democrats in power. Is he so dumb not to see this?
The good people of Mississippi can replace him with Haley Barbour.
I think someone with skill in writting should make a list of the Trojans hiding GOP Closet!

What will be the impact on our property taxes, state and local taxes which will have to be increased to deal with the increased populations due to the ‘extended’ families they will be bringing in? What impact will they have on our overcrowded prisons and jails...6-7% of any population ends up in prison or jail. What is the impact on our already overburdened hospitals like the Regional Medical in Memphis?
We will need new schools to teach their kids, and more teachers, more cops, more prison guards........ NO one has said a word about these things.
Have the folks in DC considered all this?
The Problem is President Bush. He needs to be constitutionally replaced by Cheney. Bush has placed Mexico over America. He has handcuffed our troops in combat and is afraid of Iran.
Otherwise, we need to form a 3rd party with willing Republican Senators that will filibuster everything until the people’s will is followed.
Next time he gets his butt in a crack with the National Media, let him feel the pinch; don’t come to his aid.
I think a lot of ingrained Pubbies in the Senate are going to have primary opponents in ‘08.
That was a mistake. Lott was either a bigot, or too stupid to realize that his comments could be construed as such.
Neither is a defense of the guy holding a leadership position in the Senate. The fact that the GOP, after getting their arses spanked in the 2006 elections, made Lott Minority Whip shows the party is as clueless as Lott is.
We got rid of Tom Daschle and we can sure as hell get rid of this dumba$$.
