I don’t even understand why she was stopped and what’s going on...

She was stopped because she had a bottle of water and a sippy cup with water in it. According to their incident report, she flashed her secret service credentials and tried to bypass security. They then directed her back out to dispose of the water. Notice how she stops as soon as she clears the last guard and does something. It must be then that she dumps the contents of the sippy cup on the ground. It certainly didn't look like she was trying to drink it. That is when the blue shirted guard gets up and starts fussing at her. Eventually she is made to clean up the mess she made. So you can see where she was when she spilled the water.

The government thinks this backs up their story. Howeve, it make them look really bad. When my husband saw that woman on her knees cleaning the ‘spill’, he about had a heart attack. He was furious. He also saw that toddler wondering off because of those security nazis. This enraged him further. I know he would have protested loudly if it was me and would have been locked up by those cretins.

I don’t even understand why she was stopped and what’s going on. About loses the little kid because of the security person.””

The rules say no liquids carried aboard the plane. We have all had to deal with this. Drink your water/soda/etc, before you go into the ramp area to get on the plane. I have purchased drinks inside the boarding area, after being screened, but I had to finish it before getting on the plane.
This woman was wrong:
1. She said “because she was a FORMER Secret Service agent”, SHE should be exempt from ALL the rules regarding boarding planes. News to me that there were exemptions.
2. She tried to take a sippy cup with liquid- I think water- on board, and the TSA employee told her she couldn’t, she had to go back and empty the cup, then she could board.
3. She clearly emptied the cup on the floor—shaking it twice on the video I saw- apparently getting out all the drops she could. This creates a hazard for other passengers who cannot see the liquid on the dark floor. That was just plain stupid.
4. The TSA guy stops her and tells her she cannot leave until she cleans up her mess. She argues. More employees enter the fray, and she is finally cleaning up what she DUMPED onto the floor.
5. All this caused her to miss her flight.

I don’t think TSA employee was wrong. They have a set of rules they have to follow. The woman was hugh and mighty about her FORMER job and was trying to throw her weight around.
I think TSA did a service to all travelers for them to see that while the rules might be a bother, the TSA employees are under tight restrictions to have ZERO tolerance for anyone.
The woman deserves to be blackballed for the trouble she caused. Kid sure deserves a better mom.
Wonder what her temper was like when she worked for Secret Service????
