Comments by Republican senators on Thursday suggested that they were feeling the heat from conservative critics of the bill, who object to provisions offering legal status. The Republican whip, Trent Lott of Mississippi, who supports the bill, said: Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.

If I still lived in Mississippi, not only would I not vote for Lott, I would vote for anybody...including a democrat for Senator. This man has gone over the edge.
Although he has always been a power hungry SOB, he’s gone over the line.
Mississippi, elect anybody but LOTT, that Loser.
Just got an email from the RNC about Harry Reid and his “the surge has failed” comments. This is the reply that I sent Mike Duncan.

Mr. Hunter,
I read about Mr. Reid’s comments. They were dispicable. We’haven’t even gotten all the troops fully in the field and he is proclaiming defeat.
I have a request for you. Talk to President Bush and the Republican Senators and ask them if THEY HAVE LOST THEIR FREAKING MIND ON IMMIGRATION!!!!!
SECURE THE BORDERS NOW!!!!!!!!!!
ENFORCE THE CURRENT LAWS, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
NO TO AMNESTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are SICK and TIRED of our tax money going to pay for LAWBREAKERS.
This issue will DESTROY the Republicans in the upcoming elections. If the Republicans think you will get Hispanic votes, you are dumber than dirt.
One MORE TIME.
SECURE THE BORDERS NOW!!!!!!!!!!
ENFORCE THE CURRENT LAWS, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
NO TO AMNESTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you get that message? If you did, pass it along to the president, because he ain’t got it, yet.
Lifelong Conservative who is disgusted with the current state of affairs in the Republican Party,

Chester is a Democrat. Flippen RINO.
Wow!
It's becoming very frightening considering these people have power.
Clearly our representatives are not happy about the numerous radio shows that are broadcasting America's outrage over this border in invasion.
This is all about illegal low wage labor, and the corporations that fund and support these corrupt politicians to ensure their low wage labor is not endangered.
No, the man is a danger to America, our freedom and the Constitution.
Exactly.
Television is for the easily amused, and easily led, run by the sultans of socialism, and Communist leftist.
The Republicans have become Democrats. Disturbing. What to do?

Deal with that problem? Hmmm. Hey Trent! While you are at it you might as well do something about the internet too.
E-MAIL DIRECTLY TO TOP REPUBLICAN SENATE STAFF.
Protest the amnesty bill!!!
Keep it polite. Remember, they’re important people, but it’s not their fault. It’s the senators’ fault.
These are all chiefs of staff. The senator’s name is also in the e-mail address:

TURNCOAT TRAITOR! LOTT IS NOTHING MORE THAN LITTLE! HE SOUNDS LIKE HIS DEMOCRTAIC FIENDS!(I left the r out for a reason)
Trent is just figuring out the WE RUN THIS COUNTRY! He can be easily replaced.
And how does good ol’ Lotty plan to “deal with” the “problem” of talk radio? By throwing conservatives off the air with that wonderful piece of legislative cloth, the Fairness Doctrine?
Why on Earth did we waste our time defending this RINO idiot after his Strom Thurmond comments?
Count me in Lott, count me in...
Must be disorienting and frightening for Good Ole Trent and the Boys to have informed actual citizens “running” America — as opposed to the media and lobbyists.
I think it’s time for term limits. These Senators are more concerned about working with each other and they forget who put them where they are. They are all elites. When push comes to shove they all think the same no matter what letter is beside their name.
That's working soooooooo well with the Chief Executive.
Actually, I don’t recall trusting him.
I always thought he was at least a closet globalist.
At least he’s now out of the closet.
May he go suck rocks. Preferably in Siberia or Leavenworth with Scuba Teddy, Shrillery, Boxerface, Dingy Harry, SKerry, Byrdbrain, . . .
