a quote from Senator Lott:
"I'm sure senators on both sides of the aisle are being pounded by these talk-radio people who don't even know what's in the bill," Lott said. He added that the "leadership will have to be prepared to do what needs to be done."
And the more they learn about what IS in the bill, the harder they're pounding, and rightly so.
We need to vote these traitors out and put in Senators who keep their oath and word.
Already e-mailed the one Senator I believe I have any hope of convincing to oppose this thing.
Interesting he says that, especially because the Senate was trying to rush this bill through before its text was released publically. He probably wanted it passed last month before most of the Senate even got the text of the bill.
Lott isn’t alone in his arrogance, they’re all “in your face” with their smug arrogance. These DC traitors think they’re “Royalty.” The cure for these traitors is no donation(s) or campaign workers for “any” re-election campaign. Send every last one of them back to the third-world they created. They can live among the illegals they’ve allowed to infiltrate our country.
Senator Sessions should challenge Lott to a debate. Not on the Senate floor, but on national TV. Sessions knows more about the bill than the Senators who are sponsoring it.
(He’s read it.)
OK, Mississippi. It’s on you. Send this fool home in his next primary.

When it comes to believing and trusting, Senator Lott, you rank behind the people I listen to on talk radio. Are you listening to me? There are good reasons for that.
And the general public thinks Congress ranks lower than President Bush, who has greatly disappointed me recently.
The truth is that this is an “impasse” bill. That is, nobody has the votes to do anything, and they know it. So why go through the motions?
1) Hoping to punish the other political party by having them support unpopular ideas.
2) Hoping to rally support among big contributors who have a stake in any outcome.
3) Giving plenty of opportunity for members to “vote for the bill before the vote against it.”
4) Forcing congressmen under pressure in their districts to burn up a lot of their accumulated IOUs from other congressmen.
5) Fighting over who can appeal most to the newest demographic increase in the US, “Hispanics” (is that ever a useless word). Ironically, Mexicans and Mexican-Americans wisely split their support between the political parties, which forces both parties to show them extra consideration.
6) The immigration debate has been very useful in pushing the Iraq war off the front page, intermittently, which is giving more time for the military to get the job done.
7) Having an unresolvable problem holds the presidential candidates feet to the fire, and will help cull some of the “also-rans”.
Really and truly the utter audacity of this fool is too much.
SENATOR LOTT- ATTENTION! Many talk-radio people who have been leading the way on this HAVE READ THE DAMN BILL, and THAT is exactly what has them so infuriated.
You have fooled many of us for years. No more.
How does a loose cannon like this get into a position of authority? He’s peddling a pos bill no one wants then mouths off about fixing the “problem” of people complaining about it. What does Lott think the Senate is, the Kremlin that rubber stamps everything the boss wants? The man’s a dishonor to democracy and to the country.
Yeah Trent - we’re ALLLLL stupid, and the only intelligent ones in the country are the 500+ geniuses sitting in the U.S. Congress. What on earth would we DO without you?
Hmm....just HOW LONG have YOU been on the public dole, dude? Why haven’t you term limited yourself and obtained a job in the private sector?
I’ll put Mark Levin against this Republicrat any day.
Spoken like a true leftist, Democrat!
These “talk radio people”, Mr. Lott, are the only thing keeping this country from tanking and surrendering to the morally bankrupt, Communist left.
He must think the American people can not read and that we are unable to make an informed decision without “talk radio” telling us what to think. Every time I hear one of these people say that we can’t deport 12 million people, I would like them to appoligize for not doing the job that we elected the to do. The reason there are 12 million illegals here is these elected official did enforce the laws that they wrote. Now they want to pass new laws to cover up for their inaction.
Trent Lott is the Poster Boy for the Stupid Party.
Last night my Chinese fortune cookie said:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>”Luck Fott!”<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
The GOP has had lame leadership before but this crew are truly a bunch of rocks. How stupid can they be to push a bill that will destroy not only the GOP but the country?
Royalty is right. The next time you speak to a Senator, make a point of calling them Congressman (or Congresswoman). They will try to correct you but you will be accurate. There are two houses of Congress, the HoR and the Senate. Both Representatives and Senators are Congresscritters. Senators just think they are so much more.
You have pom pom pretty well pegged.
