There have been a few people here on FR who have cited "The Romney Deception" as scripture when it comes to Mitt Romney's political and moral character. I thought a little perspective was in order and did a little reading about it's author, Brian Camenker and his organization MassResistance. Dean Barnett of Townhall.com, had the above to say about Mr. Camenker. I felt that this was the fairest thing I could find about him. The rest of what I found was from Left-wing sources and, of course, they throw around over-the-top names at Mr. Camenker so, I will not reference them here.
Unfortunately, Mr. Camenker has something in common with these Lefty bloggers and activists. They are very angry people. I posted all of the relevant links in the above article and would encourage anyone who reads this article to go to those links and read; then make your own decision. I would also encourage the reader to view all of the responses on this thread as well and decide just who is angry and who is making a reasoned political statement.

It’s one thing to oppose the gay agenda and their quest for special rights, quite another to go down the Fred Phelps path with hating them. This is one of the splits in the Republican party with the social conservatives who want to use government to enforce their view of the world versus the limited government types who think that all people should be treated equally with no special preferences.

Brian Camenker is too strident, agreed. But that doesn’t mean that some of his points aren’t valid. For other local critics of Mitt, I’d suggest you look at
http://www.massrepublicansfortruth.com/. These people are mainstream and it’s not so easy to marginalize them.
