I am no fan of socialized medicine but the link to socialized medicine being the cause is where? I might have mssed it but did the article cite a history that might lead one to conclude a cause and effect? Or os that your hypothesis because it happens to be Canada? DO you think this never happens in US hospitals?

Doctors noted the symptoms but decided the boy was not ill enough to be admitted. I have not read of this happening in the US. Many articles are posted on FR I may not find newsworthy, but I do not complain to the poster about it. Mods will move it to smokey backroom.
