Are you American Indian? Probably not.

If a person in your neighborhood was mistreated and could not adequately provide for their family and came to you (your property) for help - are they invading?

Much like your neighbors, our territorial neighbors as a country deserve slightly different treatment than someone like China or Iran.

Do you think the US will be better off if someone like Lopez Obrador gains control of Mexico - he is a great buddy of Hugo Chavez. Yes our dollars are helping prop up that country and yes it is corrupt, but that doesn’t mean all the people are. They have spoken in 2 straight elections and they deserve our support to preserve a more friendly North America or do you think Hugo would be a good neighbor?

Consider the more complete picture before spouting your ignorance.

Terrible analogy, unless you are going to tell me right here and now that you have ten illegal aliens living in your house, tonight. Do you? Or are you just another hypocrite, happy to extend OUR tax dollars to YOUR pet social causes?

BTW, are you on shifts in Tony Snow's Blog War Room, or are you just cranking up the Latte machine during the Shamnesty Battle?

Look what their failed immigration policy got them.

Non-sequiter. They are not our neighbors from down the street. They are citizens of another country. If they were asking for help to make it a livable place, I might be more inclined to listen.

I vastly prefer the policy George Washington, one of those old, dead, white guys you may have heard of, when he said that we should treat all other nations as equal, trading when we could and warring when we must. Mexico is just another country, and is not notable worthy of any "special treatment". Geography is not an important factor in this consideration. Also, they have opposed in foreign policy very recently.

We should avoid as much as possible interfering in another countries politics so long as they respect us. If they want a free market, good for them it's better for trade. If they want to follow a tyrannical dictator who murders them for fun, as long as he doesn't attack America or our allies, I don't care.

You do realize you are talking to a Freeper who lived a good long while in San Diego, and has seen this elephant, verdad?
