Laura interviewed Tony Snow in the last hour of her show. In fact, she devoted the whole hour to illegal immigration. After her no holds barred interview with Tony (she wiped the floor with him!), she took phone calls and read emails that were generated in reaction to the interview.
This is MUST HEAR RADIO!!!
Maybe I took it wrong, but Tony sounded very condescending.
He kept saying things like “the facts say...” “we did this...” and they didn’t jive with reality.
He dismissed the Rassumsen poll over the LA times poll.
I got the impression that what he believes he knows “the truth” and any other argument is a lie or wrong. This is the same type of thinking that the DNC follows.
And not only that, but two years later Reagan was out of office and George "read my lips" the First was in.
And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
When Mike Savage first came up with the nom “Tony Snowjob” he was attacked en masse by the F.R. BushBots. Now people here use that nom frequently, without attribution, and the feeling seems nearly universal. Once again, Savage is a master in expressing how you will feel in the future, but hate him for even saying in the present.
“More outrage is required if were ever going to penetrate their thick skulls!”
That’s not my quote. Please go up to post #128.
OK, I gotcha. Thanks.
Thanks very much! :o)
Just listened to the interview, Laura did kick ass but Tony was spinning so hard I got dizzy.
Can’t find the email address for TS. There is an Office of the Press Secretary....
Thank you. :o)
No one has had a better post, your comment is right the mark.
Tony Snow is an out-of-touch, condescending, arrogant blowhard, paid to shill for an out-of-touch, condescending, arrogant blowhard.
I’ve heard the whole interview twice, and the portion on Laura’s website a few times, and your wife is right. Laura did a fabulous dismissal of Tony’s “Snow job!” :o)
>>I didn’t hear the interview, but I know Tony has no choice but to carry the water for the administration.<<
If you get a chance to hear the interview, you’ll hear a lot of passion and conviction in his voice. He is very sincere in his defense.
He has a choice. He chooses to shill for this administration. He could certainly quit in good conscience, especially considering his health issues.
He chooses not to.
>>He doesnt deserve to be saddled with trying to dishonestly push Bushs agenda on illegal immigration.
<<
He does it willingly. No one is putting a gun to his head.
Very well said, and I agree!
>>,,,,someone else puts you in a position where they are forcing you to lie....<<
No one can “force” anyone to lie. That’s absurd. They do it by their own free will.
One of the Administration’s big weapons (or so they think) is their trying to convince us that the majority of Americans approve of this bill. They think we’re that stupid, and they’re seriously underestimating the power of the internet.
Good tagline : )

I wonder what people think when they see me ranting by myself in the car on the way to work. I seem to do that alot these days. Last week, when I thought we’d beaten back this monster, I was damn near high fiving myself in the car.
Shows you are human, and a good patriot!
