Saint Louis: No clue yet on who stole explosives — and why

Authorities said Wednesday they have no information to suggest any terrorism connection in the theft of "several pounds" of explosives from a law enforcement firing range near Weldon Spring.

The dynamite, C-4 plastic explosive, safety fuse and other materials were stolen from the St. Charles County Law Enforcement Training Center, at 1835 South Highway 94.

I don't live very far from this facility. It is on a relatively rural road that does not see as much traffic as other places in St. Louis... It is also near the August Busch Wildlife Conservation Area, so not many people would see anything "out of the ordinary", since not many people frequent the area.
It is very disconcerting to think there are explosives floating around the St. Louis metro area, or by now, any metro area within a 2 day drive of St. Louis.
