Maybe it needs to go away. I think we've seen enough evidence over the past several years that the GOP apparatus has little or no regard for the base of the party. Dislodging these idiots will be much easier said than done, so bypassing them altogether appears to be the best hope. Still, starting a new party sounds great, but would be a tough road to hoe.
Perhaps. I just don’t get it. The GOP (in the past few years) has exihibited no backbone. They just let the Dems walk all over them. It’s frustrating- I’m starting to think they’re all in cahoots.
