It breaks my heart when I see an otherwise attractive and sensible young woman getting these big ugly tattoos. Tattoos are forever, but this particular stupid fad has almost played itself out.
As my wonderful niece said to her less-wonderful cousin as he was showing off his arm-band tattoo, “How radical and non-conformist... in an entirely predictable and conformist kind of way”

Don’t know if you have ever seen it but Saturday Night Live has an excellent skit of what happens as the years pass with tattoos
It starts with a young woman with a lower back tatoo, and morphs to old age. Hilarious reality of what sagging does to “artwork”

My brother and I had a similar conversation a couple weeks ago. I agree it will be big business in s few years.
