I have to say President Bushs voice irritates me also. I am so disappointed in some of the things he has done-so what. Same here. I change channels when he comes on and just read what he said on line. Half the time I can't even stand doing that, anymore.

(If we can't locate/deport illegals, how will we get them to come forward to pay their $3,250 fines?)

His down-home, country style way of speaking was charming when he was campaigning in 2000 (and even in 2004).
Nowadays it seems forced and irritating. I don't know if it's what he's saying or how he's saying it, but it grates on me after more than a few minutes.
But then, so do the voices of most politicians. They sound like bad professors lecturing to their students. Very few politicians talk to people any more, they talk at people.

I hear you. Do the same myself. Never thought I’d see the day but recent antics sealed it.

(And I hope that what I’ve done here today doesn’t force you to have a negative opinion of me….)

Yeah, I was one of his biggest supporters. People used to call me a Bushbot. Now, I try to ignore him.
