What follows, is this slightly misleading map misleading, because the economies both of the US states and of the countries they are compared with are not weighted for their respective populations. That statement intrigued me, so I looked it up with respect to my own state. The country whose GDP it matches has 46 million people in it. My state has 1.5 million. Thirty to one.
Naturally the distribution of wealth across the population varies between the two as well, but I'll have to admit I'm a little stunned. BTT.

OMG this is so true...
Prepare to face our perennial losers the Norway Vikings! I think it was one of the Norwegian government ministers visited and made the comment MN has more Norwegians than Norway. We have their socialism too.
