This is the dirty secret of the “they are just simple law-abiding people trying to do good for their families” argument. Disqualifying felons from the “pathway to citizenship” would disqualify massive numbers of illegals, because, even if you amnesty the one crime of illegal / undocumented entry itself, the vast majority are guilty of other felonies.
That’s why the amendment excluding felons from amnesty was called a “poison pill” that would “destroy the spirit of comprehensive immigration reform.”
Just say NO to Amnesty!! Keep calling!! Its NOT OVER!!

No wonder our Senatesitters and Congresscritters defy us! May I once again recommend a startling read, “VoteScam: The Stealing of America”, by James M. and Kenneth F. Collier? I don’t know about your state, but it has been going on for at least 25-30 years in Oregon and Washington, barely veiled, as a matter of fact.
Look for it in paperback in your vintage book stores. Victoria House Press.
The new calling plan, Call All
It is time to call beyond the published phone numbers. Example; 202-224-3121 is the published number for the Senate Switchboard. If you dial 202-224-2887 you get the Senate Commerce Committee answer line. 202-224-3445 end up with the Senate Building Health Unit The idea is to work through the last four digits in sequence who answers give them the message. Some of you geeks, I say that with admiration; can probably develop a list of all the combinations which will keep us busy from the calling end. Are you with me?
