I also didn’t like the ending at first, but now love it. The tension was so thick in those final moments that you could cut it with a knife.

I like the interpretation that the fade to black indicated the end of Tony Soprano, but then again it could mean anything. Brilliant!

I had my money on Meadow witnessing her family’s demise and stepping in somewhat like her grandmother.

I thought the cat might be Adrianne.

Great tv drama; sorry to see it go.

"I also didn’t like the ending at first, but now love it."

Go with your first feeling. That non-ending just sucked. "I'll end it by not ending it" what is that crap?

Since Chase made an effort to give his version of a morality play (Republicans = bad) in many of the episodes, I wonder why he didn't bother to show the criminal get his final punishment.

It is interesting that the only one not at the table was Meadow, who remained the only member of the family not to join in on mafia activities. She was the only one who tried to stand on her own and, despite her love for her father, always made it clear she didn’t approve.

“The tension was so thick in those final moments that you could cut it with a knife.”

I thought it was just a mish-mash of scenes that served no point I did not like the ending as it was done at all. In fact I thought for a final episode of an award winning ground breaking drama it was very weak.

Way too much time was spent with AJ [who cares about his angst?] The cat made little sense except as a sort of comic relief, Silvio...poor Sil.

The episode reeked especially after last week’s pot boiler of classic Soprano’s.

Oh well. It was a damn good series and I am sorry to see it go.
