There is no body
David Chase has A.J. join the army and gets his legs blown off.
Then A.J. gets artificial legs and kills 40 Republicans.
That scene gave me the idea that the FBI guy had a bet going on with someone over who was going to get whacked first, Tony or Phil. Either that, or it meant that he was relying on more information from Tony about the Arab guys.
David Chase is a liberal POS.
Those on the left coast are most appreciative.
I'll never forget the 24 thread that was titled Edgar Dies! 2 hours before it ever aired out west.
David Chase shows us how disgusting the FBI guys are because they are willing to let people get killed in order to stop terrorists.

Didnt Gilligan let The Skipper live on that episode so he could marry his Big Buddy?
>>
Almost. Remember, right at the end when they lean in to kiss, Gilligan reaches in his pocket for the knife we saw him put there earlier and then the screen goes suddenly blank. You just know he gutted the Skipper.
Chase stole the ending from that.
And who ordered the hit? Phil said that they decapitate the head and '...we'll do business with what's left over".
Nope...it's an ending fitting for characters who are going to make millions on a sequel or movie blockbuster.
To think this all started as 'Virgil' (Gandofino)confronting 'Alabama'(Arquette)in TRUE ROMANCE. LOL!
Chase managed to bash the military, the war, President Bush and the FBI all in the same ending.
Instead of taking shots at Tony Soprano, they took shots at you and me.
Thanks.
I think the FBI guy grew genuinely fond of Tony, and hey...identified with him too. Did you see his FBI “afternoon delight” with a female agent?
I remember that now. Gilligan was a real bastard that way
Thank god this is that last episode.
I love Paulie.
Hey, it was only Phil...
But maybe there’s a rivalry between the FBI guys who investigate the Jersey mob and the FBI guys who investigate the NY mob, and that’s why the FBI guy was cheering over Phil’s death. But that FBI guy, if you’ll remember, has been feeding Tony bits of info for quite awhile now. I guess it’s a quid pro quo thing.
I know, the whole Bush/Rove nonsense was so ham-fisted. Seriously, Chase goes off on these little rants every once in a while. Liberal meadow has had a few in the past - The show comes to a COMPLETE halt, and we hear a character basically give a political speech “Bush is violating peoples’ rights!” “ Bus let al-qaeda go!”
It is so woefully awkward to hear the break in dialogue for his pi$$ant politics.
Yes. Hairy back and all. Ew!
I think David Chase was reflecting his own mental insanity through the show.
He’s a moron.
He said he won the pool.
The people that saw the show as dynamic and more than just a show about the Mob, will be the people that loved the ending. Those who didn’t see the Sopranos for all its complexities in the past 6 years, won’t like the ending or understand it.
Not the best ending for a television series... Both 'Newhart' and 'St. Elsewhere' had the best endings I've seen, but an interesting way to end things.
