I was watching Extreme Makeover on ABC and Mcdonald's had a commercial come on. At the end of the commercial they had something over their logo that looked odd. Does anyone know what these stars and moon mean?

If the logo really bothered you, why didn't you drop a private note to MacDonalds, instead of a public query here-- knowing the kind of hate you would stir up with your post? You also left out the part of the commercial that shows the moon and stars rising from behind the arches while the announcers voice-overs that McDonald’s is open late nights.
I recorded the commercial since I had the DVR on. I heard the whole thing. My question was regarding the symbol they were using. I had never seen it before and could not find it anywhere on the internet.
Maybe then McDonald's has apparently decided to construct such a symbol for the first time and start using it to mean they are open after dark? If so, as I said in my original post, I find their choice of symbols "weird".

I fully agree with all but the final sentence of your first paragraph in post #87.
The final sentence of the first paragraph is, perhaps, a little over the top. I didn’t like the basic idea of the event, but it seems more like liberal multi-culti nonsense than dhimitude to me.
And the final sentence of the post is bordering on the ridiculousness of the old Proctor & Gamble ‘satan worship’ meme that others have mentioned above.
When you ‘cry wolf’ over things like that, it makes your valid concerns on the real dangers of the spread of islamic idiocy less convincing.
