Late-night ski lift looking for a snow bunny.
Where are the cool Brooklyn ski bums? Ive got tons to share.
Take a ride on the snow train.
The come-ons in the Casual Encounters section of Craigslist last week or any week are as plentiful as they are obvious (and cheesy). Using a variety of euphemisms that have been around since Jay McInerney wrote about Bolivian Marching Powder, posters invite others to join them for a line or a lost weekend fueled by cocaine.

...[I]n interviews over the last five months with people in the night-life, entertainment, media and finance industries, all said that cocaine is a prominent part of a night out. Teron Beal, 34, a songwriter and aspiring actor, said he encountered cocaine regularly and does it occasionally and not only in clubs and bars. When youre in meetings and youre in the studio, its offered like coffee, he said. If you say yeah, theyre cool with it and if you say no, theyre like O.K., and they just go and do it in front of you.

I don’t care what an adult chooses to put in their body.
Good for you.
You might choose to care about cocaine.
In enough quantity, it can fuel paranoid delusions and schizophrenic behavior, resulting in murderous actions.
There's no upside to this stuff. And it can directly affect you. Same with meth.
>>>>cocaine is a prominent part of a night out...
I really have a hard time believing that. I’ve never seen anyone use cocaine. I don’t know anyone that uses cocaine.
Maybe I’m too old or hung with the wrong people.
You mean wealthy people in fiance and the entertainment industry are doing coke?
This Belongs in Breaking News!!
Perhaps, Matt Drudge will run with this on Sunday.
“People in Show Business are doing Coke!”
Breaking Hard!!!
The stuff can kill you immediately just ask Len Bias.
Oh, I guess we can’t ask Len. RIP.
Where do you live, and what sort of places do you frequent?
Stuneing!
So can alcohol.
What if they O.D. and die on your dime?
The NYT will run a front page story on Monday about the probability of the sun rising on Tuesday.
>>Alarming article on cocaine. Don’t be fooled — the vices that show up in large cities, and the problems they cause, very quickly turn up everywhere in America.<<
There has been a demand for stimulents as long as there have been stimulents.
Speed became popular because it was cheap and easily made here in the U.S.
The new regulations have drug gangs making the speed and Mexico and importing it.
Since Coke and speed now travel the path and Coke is apparently more desirable I would expect a rise in Cocaine usage.
I grew up 1/2 mile outside of downtown Newark.
I use to jump the tubes, go into NYC and did the nightlife in my pizza triangle.
I never saw cocaine in real life.
Neither have I. But I couple people I knew from other circumstances were busted with it, 20-25 years ago. Ruined both lives.
I’m worried that there are people who will start using cocaine or heroin as a type of weekend recreation, assuming they won’t get addicted. It may be socially acceptable, and they may think of it as weekend recreation, but there is still a risk of addiction. I imagine nobody starts out intending to become a drug addict. It just catches up with you.
I’ve known ‘of’ people busted with it too; but they were never people I was involved with normally.
You first.
