I really hate to see anyone suffer. He should be put out of our misery at the very next election.

As tempting as it is to give you *my* address...
I’m hoping to hear from the good citizens of South Carolina where we can each send our money to defeat this POS.
To: Nervous Tick
We beat the turds on this. But we can’t let up our guard.

They are talking about getting a list of amendments, 10 or so.
That means they intend to re-package the same bill and pre-select the amendments.
If so, it will still be amnesty for illegals first. Then other stuff will follow, maybe. In truth, there still won’t be border security, and in 5 years we will have another 20-50 million new illegals awaiting a new amnesty bill.
They are going to try to shellgame this same ole pig with a different shade of lipstick.

Feinstein: This is not an amnesty bill.

How blind can they be? Or do they think we are that stupid?
When you give status to illegals and have a new law that says they cannot be deported, that is amnesty. The fine, etc., ONLY occur if they apply for a Z-VISA — which is not a requirement.

That fool Kyl seems desperate to get himself attached to a major “historic” legislation, regardless of the long-term consequences to America of such a disaster like this.
To: Nervous Tick
“Once that’s done, it’s up to my Democratic Leadership........colleagues..” Lindsey Graham.
That about sums it up.

Lindsey Graham: “Senator Kennedy is a principled man”
Graham is a damn fool.
To: Diogenesis
That is hilarious! Perfect captions! It definitely tells the story. :o)

Graham makes a football analogy: “We are inside the 10 yard line and we have 4 downs to score”
This moron is going to find out what it feels like to get stuffed at the goal line. There will be a TURNOVER, Senator Graham, and it includes your office.

When you give status to illegals and have a new law that says they cannot be deported, that is amnesty. It's amnesty with Christmas everyday. The fine is bupkes compared to all the benefits that they are entitled to once they sign up to pay it. And contrary to the lies that we are being told, the fine is not $1000 for everyone. Some would only have to pay $100. Others would pay NADA in fines and get a green card in THREE years, not eight to 13 as these liars keep insisting.
Meanwhile, people who followed the rules are waiting years just to enter the country. Crime pays.

After Kyl voted against cloture, I started to have some hope for him. Being with Kennedy has changed him.
He needs a long spoon who sups with the Devil.

Good post—I hope the people of South Caroline mobilize to kick him out. He’s lost any resemblence of representing the people who voted his sorry, silly ass into office.

Meanwhile, people who followed the rules are waiting years just to enter the country. Crime pays.
And real, actual, American citizens now have to have passports, if they leave the country and try to get back in. Illegals don't.
This Senate and Bush Administration and upside down. This bill demonstrates their insanity.
I still wonder who is getting paid what for this monstrosity. Some bodies surely are getting big bucks under the table. Too many in Washington are pushing this too hard for it to just be out of the goodness of their hearts. Too many are looking the American people directly in the eye and telling them it isn't amnesty when it gives immediate legal rights to 12-50 million illegals. Too bad there isn't some way to 'follow the money'. I would bet the exchange of financial benefits would make the Enron scandal pale in comparison.
This whole thing stinks. It died in 2002. It died in 2006. It almost died this past week. Yet now the same cast of characters in the White House and Senate are trying to resurrect it, while over 70% of the American people are against it. There is more than just stubbornness going on; for some reason, this cast of characters are attaching their political future to getting this passed. Why? Why?
We see Bush ranting and raving for it.
We see Kennedy ranting and raving for it.
We see Kyl ranting and raving for it.
We see Lott ranting and raving for it.
We see McCain ranting and raving for it.
We see Graham ranting and raving for it.
We see Reid ranting and raving for it.
Those rants and ravings remind me of some TV or movie where the guy owes the loan shark, payment is due, and he doesn't have the funds to pay up. It causes me to wonder who does these guys owe, and is this legislation the payoff to save their kneecaps?
