With all due respect, you need to put God above politics.
It is not the CIC’s job to interfere in this fiasco. The truth is coming out and the snowjob is being shown for what it is.
Pray for W and Our Troops

They are never alone — there is One who goes with them everywhere. :-)
A mighty fortress is our God! Thanks for stopping by, Star!
You guys are a hoot!!
I must say its a story worth sharing!!!
So much for my predictions! :)
>The other is currently deployed with the 3/1 in Iraq. He is Capt. Jeffrey Dinsmore
I just read Capt. Jeffrey Dinsmore’s letter to his father and my sense of disbelief regarding the Haditha rush to judgment is only tempered by the simple fact that there are sick people in our media and Congress that wish to inflict arbitrary harm to those that defend us.
It’s no doubt an inescapable memory once accused on the front pages of the NYT, in the Halls of Congress, and by the liberal foghorns who’ve mastered the art of defamation. It’s hard to imagine a retribution that would ease, let alone heal, the anguish unjustly thrust upon these guys. It is in my prayers that the trust we have in our Marines is the prevailing thought our defenders remember; our trust reflected in the truth which shines brighter each day ahead.
Thanks for the the links, pings, and cross references to other threads, articles, and sites.
You’re welcome, Gene! There are good men, military guys turned lawyers, on the side of the Marines: Brian Rooney, Gary Myers, Neal Puckett, Jack Zimmermann, to name a few. And I believe they will prevail. But you’re right. Some damage is too great for justice to ever be truly done.
Well said, Gene. The truth is starting to come out and it will prevail. Like you say though, it can’t be erased from the memory of these fine Marines.
The Conservative Thoughts blogger is obviously all that and more!
In post 80, we left Don & Co. for the night of June 23rd in Roseburg, Oregon. Here's his report for the day of June 24th.
I'd ride a mile or two for a hug. I tell you, actually, I'm getting a lot of hugs on this trip. I have not met one person who was not elated by what we are doing.
Everyone knows and is nauseated by Paris Hilton in jail, but has no idea the Marines are charged and in jail. There response has been, "I didn't know, tell me about it."
Bob, Jason's Dad met us in Grant's Pass this morning. He called me a couple of times to make sure he could link up his support, and a great support he was. He gave me some terrific ideas for the ride.
I'm in Redding, California and should be in Chico about 8 AM and Sacramento at 1 PM. I've been ask to ride up to the capital building, and I plan to do that.
The groups in the two attached photos are those who met me in Grants Pass and a Rest Stop just after that.
It was great to see a long line of Old Glories heading down the freeway, all for the same reason.

Im watching your progress from here in Camp Fallujah, Iraq. You shouldnt feel too alone, my butt gets pretty sore riding around in my HMMWV. Keep the faith and have a great ride. We will link up for a ride together when I get home!
Meant to ping you to the above. They’re seeing all this in Iraq.
Very very cool!!
Ain’t it though???
Awesome photos and comments from day two. A very awesome post on Conservative Thoughts! God bless the Dinsmores and their support for the Haditha Marines.
Now that gave me the chills on this 100 degree day! Wish we could be there!!
It’s wonderful that Capt. Dinsmore and other Marines are able to follow the progress of Don on this ride.
Great posts from both of you, thanks!
