In calm reflection, I believe this video best represents my feeling about the Kyl-Kennedy Senate immigration bill, given that I did read much of it and became familiar with its provisions after Bush's gentle prompting that I, and others, might not have been aware of what the bill actually offers for America.

That was Hillary and Bill in the White House, right?
(....Bill being the stuffed dummy, of course)

When you were done, you neither burned it nor evacuated upon it.
Far more gentle than it deserved...

That is great that you did but I don't think it mattered. There is nothing, nothing whatsoever, to suggest that anything and everything in that bill would have mattered one iota. Just like in 1986, things started with a great bill...but it soon devolved into nothing...even after it contributed to the 1993 WTC bombing...which no one but us old farts remember anyway. If there was *some proof* that the laws currently on the books were seriously enforced, there might be some reason to listen to what this current crop of politicians have to say.

Yeah, but did you see that over the right shoulder flip?
A thing of beauty...Jackie Chan couldn’t beat that..

The one thing that would have changed was the fact that they would be LEGAL.
At that point, any local group opposed to the damage they are causing would have no recourse whatsoever.

For all intents and purposes, they already are. The only downside, for them, is that they can't claim the EITC and earn a negative tax rate, if they pay any tax at all that is. Bin Laden could send his kids here and we would pay for their education.
