They entered the country LEGALLY. They didn't sneak across the border. Juan was right.
How is the fact that several of them entered the country legally relevant? That is true of many illegal immigrants. Juan was fundamentally dishonest because he is trying to confabulate the way illegal immigrants entered the country and their legal status at a later time.
It seems you are trying to do the same thing. But none of us are buying it. Sorry.
That doesn’t change the fact that they were illegals when they flew those planes into buildings. They should have been deported as soon as their visas were up, but the federal government refused to enforce the law. Those who don’t want illegals deported give aid and comfort to America’s terrorist enemies.
The fact that the 9/11 hijackers overstayed their visas and became illegal is an excellent reason why we should deport them all.
Was someone arguing in favor of overstaying visas and becoming illegal or are your arguments just becoming more desperate and illogical?
I take it that you'd agree that those whose status changes from legal to illegal should be rounded up?
Their presence here was illegal. Their visas had expired. How they entered is irrelevant. They were illegal immigrants.
They had expired visas......so they were illegal.
They clearly entered the country fraudulently. They had no intention of complying with their visa requirements.
Saying that the government screwed up in maintaining visibility and control of people ILLEGALLY overstaying their visas does not make it right for the government to overlook others ILLEGALLY sneaking across the border. Its all one screwed up government mess and us citizens are going to pay a price for it.
Jorga you are gordo dumb and happy.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, hours after the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, an anonymous caller led Mexican immigration agents to 41 undocumented Iraqis waiting to cross into the United States.
The Associated Press reported that Mexican immigration police detained 13 citizens of Yemen on Sept. 24, 2001, who were reportedly waiting to cross the border into Arizona. The Yemenis were arrested Sunday in Agua Prieta, across the border from Douglas. Luis Teran Balaguer, assistant head of immigration in the northern state of Sonora, said, “The evidence indicates that they have nothing to do with terrorist activities.”

Mara Salvatrucha, also commonly known as ‘MS-13’ due to its members’ proclivity for sporting tattoos of the number 13, is involved in a smorgasbord of illegal activity, including the smuggling of drugs, weapons and people across the Mexican border. The gang controls many of the smuggling routes from Mexico into the U.S., a fact that has not escaped Al-Qaeda operatives eager to carry out attacks on American soil.
In July, Adnan El-Shukrijumah, a high-ranking Al-Qaeda leader and one of the most wanted terrorists in the world, was spotted in Honduras meeting with members of MS-13. Attorney General John Ashcroft has said that El-Shukrijumah, who he has described as a ‘clear and present danger to America,’ is seeking ways to infiltrate the U.S. via the Mexican border, and is willing to pay top dollar in order to do so.

Illegals from terrorist nations are crossing the border into Arizona.
Tom McNamara and the Eyewitness News 4 Investigators have spent the last three months talking to experts and eyewitnesses.
The stories are compelling and the evidence is frightening, and just this week, Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo released a report showing that the problem is worse than anyone thought.
Here’s what the Eyewitness News 4 Investigators uncovered.
“It’s a Muslim prayer blanket. It was found about a mile and a half west from the Douglas port of entry in 2001.”
Larry Vance is a rancher who lives near the U.S.-Mexico border in Douglas, Arizona.
For years, he says he’s watched - and documented - thousands of illegals crossing the border and running away to eventual arrest... or freedom and anonymity somewhere in this country.
And in just one hour, during this stake-out along the border between Douglas and b\Bisbee, The Investigators count 198 illegals in five different groups crossing into the U.S. with no resistance.
Watch as they huddle in the bushes, then climb thru a few strands of barbed wire and run for freedom.
We called Border Patrol and waited another full hour, but no one ever came.
Later, we checked Border Patrol logs which note agents being dispatched following our call, but also note those agents found no signs of activity in the area.
In recent years, Vance says, the evidence some illegals leave behind is alarming.
Vance says, “Other log books, diary-type things, other bits and pieces of paper with Arabic written on them found in the area over the last few years
We’ve all heard of the U.S. government’s Terror Watch List: countries flagged because Americans are endangered by their citizens, yet regularly, illegals from those countries are crossing the Arizona border, blending in with groups of Mexican and South American illegal immigrants.

Do your homework. Here's a simple one question quiz: Do you even know what year the 9-11 attack took place on America?
"Where do these people come from?"
30% to 40% of all illegal aliens are visa overstays. That doesn’t make them any less illegal than the folks who come across the Mexican border into the US.
