>> King’s district in Long Island has a lot of liberal voters. It’s just a fact that politicians in the NYC area are not like those of SC or Arizona, they are far more to the left. <<

So since he's in a district that's not ultra safe, I guess we make an exception to the "never again vote for anyone who supported Clinton's treason" rule? Interesting. Do we make exceptions to all the Senators in non ultra Republican states that supported amnesty?

>> King btw is excellent on illegal immigration, one of the best in the House. <<

Lindsey Graham, BTW, was excellent during the Clinton impeachment, one of the best in the House. He served as an impeachment manager and his record on the judiciary committee was priviotal in getting the impeachment passed through the House.

So basically your position is that it's okay for us to forget Peter King allowed the Clintons reign of terror to continue in this country because he's excellent on immigration, but it's not okay to forget Graham's crappy record on immigration though his record on opposing the Clinton's reign of terror is excellent.

Convicting Clinton would have had little effect. Do you forget who would have become President if Clinton was removed? This traitorous amnesty plus bill had the potential of being the most destructive legislation in the history of our Country. Comparisons between the two are absurd.

What issue is more important to us today, Clinton's impeachment of 8 years ago or a massive nation-busting amnesty that almost passed thanks to Graham and company? Back then I wasn't happy with King's position but if you're asking me should we replace him today with a more liberal politician who might vote for amnesty in a flash then I'd say no. Dorgan is a democrat and probably sided with Clinton too but he played a big part in killing this bill. Better him than Graham or Kyl if that's what it comes down to.
