Beaucoup credits to Jeff Sessions! Outstanding performance in presenting LOOP-HOLES. Too bad we don’t have a wonderful legislator as he is here in Connecticut!
Also was impressed by Jeff DeMint, Cornyn, Sanders, Byrd, and especially, Claire McCaskill, with her “follow the money and get the employers using the illegal immigrants. Appreciate the hard work being done by these and other Senators..

I noticed on a visit there, their state motto is something like "We Dare Defend Our Rights". It shows. Wish the rest of the country's Senators would grow a pair.

Exactly. I have also thanked Democrats Dorgan and McCaskill and and the independent Sanders for speaking out against this travesty of a bill. I don't know how these people will vote - I can only hope they'll vote their conscience.

McCaskill spoke a truth on the floor today that I don't think even Sessions has broached: illegal immigration flourishes because the Bush admin. does not prosecute employers.

If a consipiratorial sell-out has crossed party lines, then patriotism must do the same.

I’ve thanked him too, please don’t misunderstand. I’m proud of both Senators for not only voting their beliefs but also for placing their constituents above the desires of the special interests groups. Both of my Senators are very good about this. Sessions just has been more vocal and is taking whatever heat from the other side of the aisle. That at times can be a lonely place even when you know what you are doing is right. :) He is in my prayers.

Every time Sessions spoke today I stopped what I was doing to listen. Why is he not the leader? What a great man.

Thank you Mr. Sessions! Now if we can figure out a way for everyone in that chamber to listen to you and adopt your ideas of common sense we would all be in better shape.
