Both Reid and McConnell were recently on the floor bloviating about their wishes to continue to work on the bill until whenever Reid wishes to return to the measure. Reed says Pubblies did not vote for cloture. He fails to note that a number of democrats voted against cloture including Byrd, Dorgan, Landrieu, Rockefeller, Stabenow, Tester, Boxer, Sanders, McCaskill & Backus. The way this bill could pass is to strip the bill of the data privacy and guest worker provisions.
