The most critical amendment was that of Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.), to restrict legalization of violent felons and gang members. That amendment failed 51 to 46, but a weaker version by Sen. Kennedy passed.

The 51 morons who voted against this amendment have exposed themselves to some devastating campaign rhetoric. I can already see/hear the television/radio advertisement in the 2008/2010/2012 campaign . . .

"Senator [X] even voted to provide legal status to violent felons and gang members who have entered this country illegally."

It doesn't get any more basic than this, folks. How f#%&ing stupid can these people be?

I’m stunned that they are giving amnesty to felons. The depravity and stupidity of that . . . words fail me.

With all the newly-minted democrat voters that the amnesty bill will create, it doesn’t matter.
