Here’s the dirt:

1. This is a feint, a ploy to get everybody against Amnesty to reduce pressure. DON’T. MORE PRESSURE. POUR IT ON.

2. This is a sham, a ploy to get Republicans angry with the GOP while the DNC players sit back. Remember, the DNC ran a bunch of ‘strong borders’ candidates last November...hold their feet to the fire now and forevermore.

3. This BILL continues to be a fraud, with any amendments as just so many different flavors of icing on a pile of sewage. It’s the BILL ITSELF, not the amendments or any loopholes, that must be quashed.

A landmark attempt to reform US immigration laws and grant a path to citizenship for around 12 million illegal immigrants faces its most crucial test yet in a moment of high political drama Thursday.
Democratic Senate Majority leader Harry Reid has scheduled a device known as a cloture vote on limiting time for debate on the package, in an effort to force it through the Senate this week.

Republicans, many of whom are under intense pressure from conservative supporters over the bill, have however complained that Reid’s move would thwart a sheaf of amendments they wish to debate, and want more time.

Reid needs 60 votes to move the bill forward in the closely divided Senate. He has said he would shelve the legislation if the cloture vote fails.

That could be fatal for the bill, as any attempt to bring it back to the Senate floor later this year or early next year would mean it would land square in the political maelstrom of congressional and presidential elections in 2008.

Drudge has a Tancredo letter to US Senators for citizens to sign and warn them against voting for this immigration (Amnesty) bill. Go to Drudge website now and sign it.

CALL! CALL! CALL! CALL! AND KEEP CALLING TILL THE LINES FRY!

WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti illegal immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them. This is a bipartisan issue not a Conservative or Liberal issue BUT AN AMERICAN issue.

STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!

The best way to stop Shamnesty

I hope our side has 40 Senators to filibuster this bill. I read somewhere that only about 30 Senators are solidly against the bill.
