Los Angeles should be embarrassed. The city has plenty of coastline. Instead of coddling illegal aliens, it should invest in a couple of desalinization plants and solve this problem.

Los Angeles should be embarrassed. The city has plenty of coastline. I wish it were all coastline.... "Arizona Bay" sounds like a nice place to visit.

Good idea...and they are!
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is in the feasibility planning stages of evaluating seawater desalination as a potential water resource option for the City of Los Angeles.

Desalination requires a lot of power. And they don't really have that much to spare. That is another thing that Los Angeles and California should be embarrassed about.

OWENS VALLEYTaylor Elliot lifts a big piece of Histosol. This site was a marsh, but a drop in the water table drained the soil, which is now severely eroded by wind.

That would be the sensible approach. I’ve seen commercials where they are being built in the mid-East. Qatar, I believe.

I doubt the illegals are wasting the water by showering regularily.
