Just WOW! Prayers up for his recovery.

Damn! I don’t think I could ever cut off a body part regardless of the situation!

If I tried that, after I finished sawing through the last tendon, I’d look down and say “damn, wrong leg.”

The tree was getting even for global warming. . . . .

Same thing happened here in PA a few years ago.
The article said there is no electricity in a town of 200, 60 miles from the state capital. What's up with that?

Eventually, a neighbor in the area heard Hill's cries for help. Eric Bookey declined to talk about the events. It must not have been too long after he performed the amputation. That stinks.

Geez, Louise! He sawed through his own tibia with a pocket knife? The intact tibia is about 2” in diameter and solid bone. It must have already been fractured and he just cut through the soft tissue.

What was the name of the guy who cut his arm off when pinned by a boulder in some incredibly remote place out west?
To: lowbridge
Guy’s got balls indeed .... although I hope he tried to dig a channel under his leg first.
