To wit: the Fair Pay Act of 2007. Introduced by Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) in April (Illionois Sen. and Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama is one of 15 co-sponsors) the Act notes the existence of wage differentials between men and women

The marketability of job seekers is mainly based on experience, training, education and in some jobs age. Having an open market at a relatively fixed price is not a good idea.

I left off my sarcasm tag. I was trying to introduce the idea of a free market to Obama and the rest of the socialists running for the Democratic nomination.
