Malaysia: 37 books that 'undermine Islam' banned
Associated Press, THE JERUSALEM POST Jun. 6, 2007
Malaysia has banned 37 books and other publications on Islam, saying they contain "twisted facts" that could undermine Muslims' faith.
Che Din Yusoh, a senior official of the Publications and Quranic Texts Control Division, said in a statement Wednesday that 21 of the items were English-language publications from the US, UK and Jordan, and 16 others were in the Bahasa Malaysia language, published in Malaysia and Indonesia.
"These publications can cause confusion and apprehension among Muslims and eventually jeopardize public order," Che Din said in a statement issued through the national news agency, Bernama.
It said the ban was imposed because "their contents and text on Islam twisted facts and true Islamic teachings, or contained elements that misled the faithful and humiliated the prophets."
Islamists banning books. Next comes burning books.
That's why it is called IslamoFASISM.
If they really want to stop all the discord and confusion then they should ban the KORAN!!!!!
Is The Bible one of them?

snicker
Malaysia is sliding down into being a Islamist controlled society. Time for the productive 50% who are all either Chinese or Indian infidels to start looking for greener pastures.
That’s too bad - Petunjuk Membuat Azimat dan Benda Bertuah
is one of my all time favorites.
I’m surprised it is only 37. 10 to 1 says they didn’t even read them before banning them.
“If they really want to stop all the discord and confusion then they should ban the KORAN!!!!!”
I disagree. The Koran should not be banned. It should, however, only be printed in the extra soft 2 ply version.
Looks like I have my summer reading list filled. There must be dozens more that aren’t on this list. Most of these sound tame compared to the more recent ones.
I am happy for the authors who made this list. Their sales should go up nicely.

The truth is enemy of evil
Evil cannot abide the truth.
LOL!!! Thanks for that - I needed a giggle!
Or maybe it's time to hope that in the spirit of the Monroe & Truman Doctrines the next President comes up with, say, the Tancredo Doctrine to prevent the spread of islam the same way we stopped European imperialism and communism. We should be arming the 'infidels' so that they can stand against islamic imperialism.
