After posting that question, I began to wish that I hadn't because it's the sort of thing that can be easily misinterpreted and can be the cause for offense being taken, particularly in such a forum as this. Your courtesy is sincerely appreciated and is the mark of a well-rounded person, which is not at all common to encounter online. It's a shame that your sister (apparently) doesn't share your perspectives on things but at least she has an opportunity to better herself, with your tutelage being available.
