I have two grown daughters and a 7 year old granddaughter. I'm thinking hand tools would be better - slower and more painful!!

I have no daughters, but my five nieces are all nearing that age. Before reaching for the 18v cordless drill, I'd begin with the "knotted rope" procedure seen in Casino Royale.

I have 2 daughter one older, one younger than Kelsey. My oldest daughter graduated from the same high school 2 years ago.

But to your remark, power tools are too good for him. I'm thinking manual tools, rusty and dull. Power tools are too quick.
