Fred T should have been on that stage answering the hard questions. This didn't do him much good, and appeared as though he has some kind of scheme, preferring to be interviewed instead of debating. Appeared to be somewhat of a cheap shot, avoiding confrontation.
Hannity pretty much gave Thompson a softball interview. He only challenged him a little on his support for McCain Feingold and voting to acquit Clinton on perjury charges.
