Barack Obama has gained support in the race to win the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008, forcing Hillary Clinton into a statistical dead heat for the first time, according to a USA Today/Gallup poll.

She's going to continue to lose support, IMO.

He’s almost as bad as she is. He just doesn’t have the baggage - yet. After she’s history, I hope there’s a way to torpedo his efforts.

Was this taken after his horrible performance in the debate?

Good point. It looks like the poll was conducted June 1-3 (June 3 was the night of the debate).

My guess is Hillary and Obama running for president and vice president, respectively. They’ll pool their resources.

I didn’t think the public could stand a year of Hillary campaigning.

I'd bet any money that queen Hiltery is having her gang of goons plotting up several ways to eliminate O'Banana: from several convenient "media leaks" to possibly a "Vince Foster">

Hitlery is one very vapid, dry & dour soul who looks down at everyone else as if she alone is worthy to inhabit the earth and everyone/everything else is there to serve her.
And worse of all is how she is allowed to do & get away with practically MURDER and the MSM covers & cowers in fear of the Clintoons hit machinery.

“Was this taken after his horrible performance in the debate?”

Polls indicated Obama won the debate. I don’t understand it, but I don’t understand American Idol, either.

The scientific poll taken during the debate by Frank Luntz indicates that Obama finished dead last by the test group.

I have never thought she would be the nominee. It concerns me that Republicans are spending so much time running against her. Run against her if she actually becomes the nominee. In the meantime build an actual conservative platform to run on. Time on Hillary is wasted.

The empty suit vs. the empty pant suit. Take your pick
of the dueling incompetents.

The Obama, Edwards, Hillary circle jerk continues. If I was a Dem, I’d throw my weight behind Richardson.

As much as we’d all like for her to go away—and wouldn’t it be great if she didn’t even win her own party nod?—the queen will absolutely be the Dem nominee in ‘08 and probably reign over our fine country for the following 8 years.

Anyone who really thinks the racists of the Democrat party are going to nominate Obama haven’t been paying attention.

I also fear that we’re going to be stuck with a Hillary presidency, especially when I see the dissension here. Too many people are worried about ideological purity and miss the big picture.

The only solace is that, like her husband, Hillary will likely be too preoccupied with her own problems and scandals to do much of anything, including withdraw from the war on terror.

Never thought I would say this, but...c’mon Hillary!

I can actually stomach her more than Obama.
