Greeley doesn't care about that commandment. For all his pretense of being an important philospher, he can't handle thinking about complex issues, without jumping immediately to his own favorite, self-determined conclusions.

Sadly his views on this illegal invasion seem to have permeated even the GOP, from the top down. I think they should end 'foreclosures' because a person can't afford their mortgage, and while they are in the mind to alter and ignore laws, how about make it a if you choose pay your taxes as a 'charitable' donation. Obviously crime does pay so long as the crime becomes religiously sanctioned as 'compassionate' by the buyers and sellers of cheap labor. And here I thought that 'slave' labor was against humanity!!! (partial sarcasm)

I think that Greeley's reverting to calling someone a bigot because they are against the program, is a strong indicator that arguments in support of the program cannot stand on their own merits.

Calling people names, especially with no justification, is a bad way to win friends and influence people.
