I've really got to get me and the kids down to Vegas for a race.
All of them. It'll be in the '09 contracts. Sponsors and all, ya know.
I’m in trouble now, huh...
Yer welcome as always!
I think this cartoon fits the latest conversation as well as Blaney's troubles:

From triumph unto triumph. Behold the power!
Naw. Just bored. Want I should post the funkle rules again :o)
May I ask that you put some more caps up on the shuttle thread? They are doing the do now. Bright sunshine and some great camera angles.
Jeff Gordon’s plane safe: Rumors that an airplane carrying a NASCAR driver went down in Pennsylvania this morning [Monday] are not true. The air control tower at Fort Indiantown Gap [PA] heard a “Mayday” from an aircraft in trouble at 8:15 this morning. But Federal Aviation Administration officials told the state emergency operations center that there are no airplanes down in Pennsylvania this morning. FAA officials said the search for the downed aircraft has moved to Delaware and Virginia. The Wilmington News Journal reports in an online news item that a search today in Kent County, Del., turned up no downed plane. The rumor, which apparently started in northeastern Pennsylvania, said the aircraft was believed to belong to NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. However, John Edwards, Gordon’s press spokesman, said Gordon’s airplane is sitting safely in its hanger.(Patriot News)(6-12-2007)
A press conference regarding Dale Earnhardt, Jr has been set for this Wednesday (13th) at 11:am (ET/10 am CDT) at his JR Motorsports HQ. It is not open to the public.
The current Jr odds board (don't think my dad will make it to Vegas in time to place any bets though):
2-1 he's going to RCR.
3-1 he picked off either Biffle or Truex, and JR Motorsports is moving to Cup as Hendrick Motorsports teams 5 and 6.
6-1 he's replacing Casey Mears at Hendrick Motorsports.
6-1 he's off to Joe Gibbs Racing.
13-1 he's joining one of the minor Chevy teams.
99-1 he's joining Matt Kenseth at a freshly-spun Fenway Racing.
I heard he’s gonna drive a “Sicko” paint scheme since he’s a huge Michael Moore fan.
And don't look for me around here tomorrow or Thursday; we've got a gaggle of teams testing at the Milwaukee Mile. Testing started today with Shrub, SlowCasey, Nesquik, ex-Candyman, Rainman, and unnamed Gibbs drivers/teams (Smoke was here last year). They'll be back tomorrow along with unnamed DEI driver(s)/team(s) (probably Menard; Truex was here last year), and unknown Ganassi drivers. Teams DEI and Ganassi will be back Thursday, along with Bifflage, the Gray Bug-eyed Trashman, and potentially other RoushFenway drivers. Ah, taheckwitchit; it's a nice day, so I'm out of here.
Earnhardt Jr. reportedly headed to Hendrick Motorsports
June 12, 2007BRISTOL, CONNECTICUT (TICKER) -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. apparently will join forces with NASCAR's most successful team.
Earnhardt is set to announce his intention to join Hendrick Motorsports in 2008, according to a report on ESPN.com on Tuesday.
NASCAR's most popular driver, Earnhardt has scheduled a news conference for Wednesday at 11 a.m. EDT, when he likely will officially announce his intentions for next season.
Citing multiple anonymous sources, the report stated that Earnhardt will drive the Hendrick Motorsports No. 5 Chevrolet, which is currently piloted by Kyle Busch.
The 22-year-old Busch is under contract with Hendrick through the end of the 2008 season. However, the talented but controversial Busch still has not reached a contract extension.
Jeff Dickerson, Busch's attorney, told ESPN.com that he is uncertain about the young driver's future and declined to comment on the report.
"Out of respect for Hendrick Motorsports, we're not really sure what's going on yet," Dickerson told the web site. "But we're trying. I don't think anything's changed yet. I cannot tell you that Kyle is out of the No. 5 for 2008."
Earnhardt's highly anticipated announcement Wednesday will come just 34 days after the racing icon cut ties with Dale Earnhardt Inc., the team founded by his late, great father and run by his stepmother, Teresa Earnhardt.
Now he evidently is headed to Hendrick Motorsports, which has completely dominated the Nextel Cup Series this season and already boasts a loaded team which features four-time series champion Jeff Gordon and reigning champion Jimmie Johnson.
Thanks for the info. I just knew something was up, it’s been quiet for two days and he seemed different on Sunday.
Just a gut feeling.
Teresa can put that in her pipe and smoke it. :P
Shrub can go to Penske with the big shrub since Roger doesn’t mind his children errrr... drivers messing up.
Now if I could just get on the pitboard without my computer crashing I will find out the latest if there is anything.
Hahahahaha they can’t help themselves........
Media Advisory

Go to JG board under Hendrick Motorsports, there is a thread about 3 pages long on the announcement. There is also a welcome thread for Junior!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of the folks over there seem very happy about this. However, they seem to think that most of us are blowing a gasket. If anyone is able to post over there, I wish they would let them know that’s not the case and that we’re happy for Junior no matter where he goes.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Most Jr fans with half a brain are very happy about this [me included] we want him to have a chance to win, to have good equipment and an owner who is involved. I think the tide turned when Rick helped Kelley out when she was so very ill.
Is there enough coverage? And, no I don’t have time to hot link all of them. Looks like we’re all teammates. Come on ST this should bring you back to us. :)
