The American people are livid and fit to be tied. The bill the President and the GOP backs would reward criminals who break our laws and violate our sovereignty and are an affront to what America is all about. The Washington elite ignores our growing anger and outrage to their peril. They stand duly warned.

I agree. I have sent my copy of my voter registration change (to unafilliated) to my senators and I pray that others have also.Life as we know it is over if this turkey passes. Guess the next step will be to start loading magazines and make sure that scope is on target..Never thought it would come to this.

Call your Senators and your entire state Congressional delegation today to express your disappoval. Call the RNC and the state GOP. Send explanatory materials to your friends and family.

These are the things I’ve done today, in addition to the same thing 2 weeks ago. One last effort before I remove myself from the party that harbors quislings and traitors such as Lindsay Graham and - sad to say - our President.

We can still send this abomination back to the McCain-Kennedy sinkhole from which it was spawned.

I have no patience for speeches, however beautiful. There is simply no need.

No new laws, no "fixing the system".

Enforcement only.

It was my plan to trash a 30 year affiliation with the Republican Party this week and to register as independent.

But I’m going to respect the conversation I had today with a senior staffer at my state GOP office. “Don’t leave us yet, give it one more try.”

So that’s what I’m doing with my spare time this week. One more try, one last effort. If George Bush calls us “racists” this week I might give it up, but for now I’m back on the phone and on email, and letting all of them know how I and other conservatives are assessing this outrage.

One thing I do know: if this traitorous atrocity is passed and then signed, there will be hell to pay within the Republican Party.

I sent speedyograms to my senators, and every time these idiotic Republicans ship me a plea for a donation I send it back with these words: BUILD THE FENCE. I have no party and no hope, save that the voters will send all of the seditionists packing.

I wrote my Congressman and my 2 Senators about amnesty and the illegals coming into Texas. Kay Bailey Hutchison sent back a form letter thanking me for my opinions on Iraq!

I don't want to get too worked up about something that could be a staff snafu, but jeese, makes you wonder just how out of touch they are.

Exactly right. Everyone needs to write their representatives and voice their opposition to this bill in the strongest terms possible. On Boortz today, Mr. Dupree (a Washington analyst) stated that he feels certain this bill will pass, possibly as soon as this week. Don't sit on this one...WRITE...DO IT NOW!

Mail checks to the RNC for $100, $500, or even $1000. But then clearly VOID the check with a "VOID" Stamp in the center of the check. Below the void stamp, handwrite: "Just think, RNC, this one could have been yours'. But not NOW. No way in hell. Not with the President and the Party supporting illegal aliens, their invasion and their amnesty."

Mail checks to the RNC...

Interesting way to get the point across! Assuming they keep a list of donors, those names would carry a stronger message.
