A group of alleged illegal immigrants were scheduled to go before a federal judge in Lubbock Monday morning, but many of them waived their right to that hearing.
A group of 17 was arrested during a raid of two Amherst dairies last month. Now, NewsChannel 11 is learning more about how they allegedly obtained their fake identification.
According to court documents, at least six in the group claim they bought their fraudulent immigration papers and social security numbers from workers at Five Star Dairy. One of them claims he bought his papers through the dairy owner for $300.
In all, 12 people are charged with felony fraud, and three others are charged with misdemeanors. Two others were deported last month.
Authorities say their investigation into the dairies continues, but no charges against the owners have been filed.
Can you say RICO? I knew you could.

True enough. I want to know why the dairy owners have not been charged for their crime of selling fake IDs.
.......But managed to make their way back to Arizona within the week where they now work for "Bubbas Pool Cleaning Service."
