USAElectionPolls.com ran its first ever straw poll on May 27, 2007. The poll read as follows "Who's Your Republican of Choice?" and the possible choices were Fred Thompson, Ron Paul, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain (news, bio, voting record), and Mitt Romney.
Of the 342 that participated in the straw poll, Ron Paul received 310 votes (91%).

lol
As you know, I am a Paulite, but, this is silly.
Derf!
That 91%, was it among his supporters?
OP: Forward to GRPPL if you deem appropriate.
One fanatic voted 300 times.
I BELIEVE!!!
O.K. now....I like Ron Paul but I suspect this number may be just the slightest smidgen on the high side. :)
Well, that settles that.
This is a press release about an unscientific poll that was spammed by Ron Paul supporters, not a legit news story.
In another online straw poll, Paul received 100% for the GOP candidate most likely to surrender to Al Qaeda.
The Republican Party of King County had a Convention last Saturday, June 2nd to nominate candidates for this years election. King County covers a huge area in Western Washington near Seattle. This year the delegate participation was low because of a number of reasons. Mostly there were only county candidates to consider and, with unusually hot 90 degree weather, many delegates chose to stay home. I think that many also chose to attend the memorial for a much loved King County Prosecutor, Norm Meleng at the University of Washingtons Hec Edmundson Pavilion that afternoon.
This is the results of a straw vote from what I call the staunch grass roots of Western Washington States Republican Party:
Sam Brownback . . . 2 votes
Jim Gilmore . . . . 0 votes
Rudy Giuliani . . . 39 votes
Mike Huckabee . . . 1 votes
Duncan Hunter . . . 24 votes
John McCain . . . . 14 votes
Ron Paul . . . . . . 3 votes
Mitt Romney . . . . 38 votes
Tom Tancredo . . . 2 votes
Fred Thompson . . . 89 votes
Tommy Thompson . . . 4 votes
Total = 216
Isn’t USAElectionPolls.com a Ron Paul site?
Optimism. That was a key component of another great Ron's campaign.
He’s doing almost as well as Assad.
Of course it’s silly, and even more so to those of us that do not suffer from Paulism Syndrome.
wow ... he’s now the front runner, I guess.
Ron Paul flying monkeys. He won’t win any primary.
