I am speechless. France is making greater progress on illegal immigration than the US. Will someone in Congress please take some friggin’ notes!
France also had riots not too long ago with Paris on fire because they let this get out of hand. Sarkozy in large part was elected because of this. Apparently the lordships running our government would like to wait until the same happens here before acting.
This story makes a very interesting contrast to a speech recently given by John McCain on the issue of illegal immigration. I still don’t get how McCain is still holding onto the lead spot or running in second with men like Romney or Thompson in the race.
