I think it will take 2 mushroom clouds. After the first one, the liberals will cry out “Why do they hate us” and “what can we do to make them like us”. Too many people still live in under the illusion that Islam is a religion like the others and the “normal” rules of engagement will work. What Al Qaeda is doing is directly endorsed by the Koran and they have not hijacked a peaceful religion.

I am afraid it will take 2 large scale attacks for the majority of people to really understand the nature of the threat we face.

Be sure to use language that sounds impressive, like ‘fissure wire,’ ‘the oscillating converter,’ and say something like ‘there’s no way an outdated device like that could reach the required equilibrium in the fusion oracle, not without a major recalibration that can only be performed by one of maybe three technicians in the world, all working for the US Government, off the record.’
