Joe Scarborough offers his keen insight and classy analysis into today's political scene in an interview this morning with Congressional Quarterly's Craig Crawford. During the Morning Joe program on MS-NBC, Scarborough suggested that Fred Thompson's wife is a whore (via the Palmetto Scoop):
SCARBOROUGH: Have you seen Fred Thompson’s wife? CRAWFORD: Oh, yeah.
SCARBOROUGH: You think she thinks she works the pole?
CRAWFORD: That’s what a Hollywood career will do for you, I guess.
SCARBOROUGH: What do you mean?
CRAWFORD: You get wives like that.
SCARBOROUGH: I mean, look at that guy. God bless him, I love his voice. But I mean, you know. He ain’t Robert Redford in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.”
CRAWFORD: Well I would like to see him back into politics because I think he’s a lousy actor.

Oh, how I would love to see a Hillary-Fred debate. It would be a massacre.
The Hildabeast is getting a lot of speech coaching these days. I noticed she has stopped saying “ya know...ya know...ya know...” every three seconds. I wonder what behavioral technique was used to accomplish that.
Maybe the speech therapist/behavioralist showed her a photo of The Bent One every time she said “ya know...”
Well, I don’t really care about who Thompson is married to, but I’m a relatively young woman (33), but I can see how I might be bothered by him choosing a beautiful young girl if I were closer to Thompson’s age. Successful older men tend to like the younger ladies, and I can see how that would bother older women a lot.
I’m tired of these crass commentators. Freds’s wife is obviously smart, articulate and has nice pair of boobies. Get over it.
I think that was an evening gown, and I’m sure the picture was taken long before Fred was considering running for president. And they aren’t “hanging out” at all.
Well, d'uh--of course there'll be comments. Finnman is absolutely right. There's lots of comment all over FR--who have already treated her like a foldout at a frat party. And there needs to be better comebacks than yours.

And I think you're exactly right. Except that their agenda isn't the least bit questionable, we know where this kind of silly criticism is coming from, people who know that FT outclasses their fast-fading candidate by a country mile.

Okay, you can defend this all you want to their detriment. Most of us bringing up this point are just trying to help. She’s taking hits for being a trophy wife and young enough to be his daughter. Dressing the part won’t help her cause.
When you look a certain way you are always fighting against other people’s projections. I am an Italian redhead. My look does not accurately portray who I am, so as I’ve aged I’ve learned the hard way that I have to be extra careful. Jeri has a similar battle in her own way. Like I said, it’s not fair but that’s life.

There's a lot of that going around on this thread, and it's so obvious that it isn't fooling anyone over 6 yeas old.
