Those are “CAC Badges.” They are needed to log onto a government computer. All military & government employees have them. They cannot log onto a government computer without them.

I wouldn't know that. My husband retired from the Army 28 years ago on June 1

“KILL THEM ALL. NOW.”

I hear the Russians used to send terrorist prisoners they were hoding back to the terrorists in pieces in response to such practices, and it put a stop to the terrorists activities rather quickly.

I’m no fan of the old Soviet Union, but they knew how to deal with terrorists.

Word gets out. After a few times that US forces quickly zero in on captured soldiers, someone will put it together. Then they can quickly capture a few soldiers, spirit them out of Iraq (say into Iran), and dissect them to find out where the US soldiers tracking devices are.

Then, figure out how to track the US soldiers themselves. Advantage: BAD GUYS!

Yes I was thinking of the old military ID cards. My husband retired from the Army over 28 years ago

Yes, Fox along with all the others no longer has room for much hard news, their to busy promoting someones book or giving one of the female anchors another boring puff piece to read on air.

They don’t have a problem tracking our troops without electronic bugs. But surely we’re smart enough to design a device that can prevent that anyway.

Sorry but the current administrations new policy of not offending anti-American Democrats makes that impossible.

All that “Wanted Dead Or Alive” talk was nothing more than jive to rev up the ratings and pump up the crowd.

I am more and more each day ...I will not post my true sentiments......

It’s time to remove the anti-American leaning embedded reporters and let our young men take off the kid gloves and take out these barbarians.

If you design a device that you can track, that same device can allow others to track it, too.

These are military ID cards. They replaced the old ones a few years back.

Don't tell them.

Are you kidding? It would be on the front page of the NY Slimes tomorrow.

It stands to reason, but we’re not dealing with computer geniuses here.

Of course, if they did start tracking our tracking devices, then we could use that as bait to trap them, too.

"It’s time to remove the anti-American leaning embedded reporters and let our young men take off the kid gloves and take out these barbarians."

I agree.

I would form a perimeter around Mecca and start the bombing there - in retaliation for killing our troops...with a strong warning.

Each time a soldier shows up captured and dead..the bombing perimeter starts getting narrower.

That might alert the muslims to take care of the problem - or suffer the consequences.

If not - then Oh well - they are out to kill us anyway!

I Just opened the Michael Savage web site and it just hurts me to see those photos.

It’s damn time that the USA took off it’s kid gloves and bloodied the nose of these barbarians.

Damn it Mr. President if you don’t have the stomach to wage war then move over and let a Patton or Black Jack Pershing type of a General take over and run this mess.

Pershing had the ideal way to deal with these terrorist Muslims.

Wrap their dead bodies in a pig skin and let it be known that all dead barbarian Muslims would get the pork treatment.

I am more angry today than I have been in a long time.

Just my opinion from a Red State wannabe.

Don’t tell them. Put them in the boots. Aside from the fact that we’ve lost 3 troops because of this, there is also the fact that these guys are still out there, and will no doubt do it again.

Once it's common knowledge that the troops had tracking devices, there'd be no reason to capture instead of kill. That goes for any of our enemies, from terrorist to uniformed opponent. Why take someone alive if he's only going to lead his friends to you? Personally, I'd rather take my chances with escape or rescue as a hostage than being marked as kill on sight.
