"Anyway, I think the Dems and Reps alike are scared to death of Fred."

I agree. How the others wish they could garner the kind of excitement Thompson has before even throwing his hat into the ring.

I can't remember ever being so confident in my vote (should I have the opportunity) this early in the game. It took some convincing for me to support Bush and I did end up protesting in the streets of Mobile during that stupid recount. Fred had me even before hello! lol

"Here’s one Hawkeye who wouldn’t mind hearing Rocky Top for four years..."

Me, too. I'm not into sports but I love that song.

Somebody sure pushed your buttons - I didn't get that tone from the article at all. I'm not into sports, and don't like country music, either (although I do love the song Rocky Top). And no Republican from the northeast is conservative, not one. If he/she was, they wouldn't get elected. I think the article was describing old-fashioned patriotism, i.e., Mom, apple pie, football, the flag, etc.

I saw most of his speech at the Virginia Republican dinner last Saturday night. He sure sounds like He is running to me. I think he’s our best hope. No one is going to satisfy everybody but Fred sure talks my way.

It seems that I as a conservative must love country music, (I don’t personally I am a die hard Rocker). I must LOVE college football. (I don’t even pay attention to it and never did).

Did you forget Nascar?

Any truooo blooded conservative must love Nascar. At least that's what the Zogby poll seems to thing. Every time I answer one of those stoopid polls they ask me if I'm a Nascar fan!

Thanks. Based on your referral, I bought six of these today:
Fred
I'm going to have to hold out now until the proceeds from my purchases actually end up going to his campaign though. GO NAVY! 1991-1998.

He's from Manhattan, now.

No more phony homeboys, no more cowboy hats.

Let's get a real person, for a change.

At least they are decent enough to ask. Is that not OK?

What we really need is not a restatement of Reagan. He was a man for his times.

We need a new man (or woman) for his times. Threats to liberty are Islamofascism, creeping socialism, and envirowackoism. These are not intellectually difficult to defeat.

We just need a leader with b*lls.

What does Nascar have to do with politics. Why don't they ask me my favorite color or if I like cheesecake? They also ask me if I consider myself an Evangelical Christian.

LOL isn't that a little bit of a contradiction?

Cafepress openly supports every liberal cause on the planet. I wouldn’t spend a dime with them.

I always wish I was from Alabama so I could identify with "Roll'Bama, Roll Tide". I always get goosebumps from that when I watch that sub flick with Hackman and Denzel.

IMHO, it will come down to the winner of Fred vs. Rudy to take down the Hildebeast.

Never said they were a conservative group. They have bumper stickers of both parties and all causes. They are however about the only place to get Fred stuff right now that I know of. More places will be popping up as soon as he officially jumps in, but for us early birds cafepress is the only one. If you know of other place, please link.
