This is bad. Which Senators are most vulnerable? Who should we target to make sure this bill is fillibustered?

We need a list of GOP Senators that we can call and threaten no more contributions, no more support and whom we will vote against in primaries to stop this abomination.

"One [proposed amendment] sponsored by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.), would expand the list of crimes making illegal immigrants ineligible for legalization. Cornyn has emphasized infractions such as gang activity and "aggravated felonies."

"Democrats say the list would virtually wipe out the legalization program by barring undocumented workers who ignored deportation orders, overstayed their visas or otherwise evaded immigration authorities."

They may be saying this, but the RNC has canned its phone bank operation because donations were off 40% according to stories in the past week. Methinks they know better. Whether they will act based on what they know is another matter. They alas remain the stupid party.

TO ALL Republican candidates running for nomination of POTUS, tell us if this bill passes into law, what will you do to revoke it and when will you revoke it?

This is the question to pose to the debating Repubs, email them.

The powers that be don't believe this to be an amnesty bill. We can play the word game with them. The word of the day is CITIZENSHIP.

Citizenship for illegals means they will have the right to VOTE.

Citizenship for illegals means they will have the right to run for and hold public office as high as US SENATOR.

These guys are evil.

Keep fighting folks. I faxed a heck of a nasty note to Senor Bush and the RNC yesterday.
