Americans are accustomed to Vice President Dick Cheneys waiting out a terrorist threat in a secure undisclosed location. Now it seems that Mr. Cheney wears the cloak of invisibility in secure disclosed locations. The Associated Press reported that Mr. Cheneys office ordered the Secret Service last September to destroy all records of visitors to the official vice presidential mansion right after The Washington Post sued for access to the logs.

actually should there ever be another attack we should let word slip Cheney is hiding in the NYT editorial board room and that he dares the terrorists to come take him out.

I am fairly certain the “fix is in” at the pinnacle of the Republican Hierachy, and even with a change in Presidents, Dick Cheney may not necessarily be any better for us on the Border Issue than Doofus is. Just a thought.
Well, who supervises the boss? The shareholders? I don't think so. They elected him to represent their best interests.
The congress is the board of directors? I guess maybe. They can impeach and convict him, fire him. They can hold committee meetings and evaluate him.
Other than the duties and authorities deliniated in The Constitution (veto, appointments, CIC, pardons & reprieves, make treaties), the authority to do everything else has been given to him by Congress. Congress actually ceeded much of their authority to the President. Congress passed laws to create specific presidential authorities. These powers often take the form of "Presidential Orders." All perfectly legal, Congress gave him those authorities. They can remove them as they wish.
