Nope. Fred Thompson and his first wife were already divorced before he went to DC. He didn't dump her for anyone, much less a 'trophy wife'. In fact, as SE Mom mentioned in Post 18, Fred's first wife thinks so highly of him, that she's willing to campaign for him for President.
