The worst part is the multiplier affect:
The "Z visas" also pave the way for "chain immigration" allowing an immigrant to bring in relatives. Previously chain immigration was limited to immediate family members. New legislation will open it to include possibly more than 11 family members of any relation. Once those family members become resident they too will be able to bring in their extended families and so on.

Newt is a very bright guy and knows politics. I wish he did not have all the baggage. He would be a great candidate. Too many skeletons in his closet.
To: Main Street
Don’t disagree with him — but I’m soooo over Newt. Let’s talk about global warming, shall we?

Newt is a great strategist. He should be an advisor not the lead dog.

And this clown, along with at least one fellow traveler, is still here while Travis, a loyal American conservative, is tossed? Something is very wrong here.

Like many Republicans who spike the ball on the one yard line, and just can't get it right all the way, Newt says twice: "You don't have to deport anyone". His concern is with currently-elected politicians who have never promised to establish deportation as a matter of policy. He's in effect, asking for our current employment laws to be enforced while having our borders defended.

Travis is back.”
I’m new here, so don’t know all the comings and goings and whys and wherefores... But I do know someone named Travis McGee was reinstated and almost immediately rebanned, apparently for calling someone a ‘quisling’. Which I’m guessing is someone infamous who helped sell their own country down the river? I guess I need to do some googling!

The problem has been with Republican leaders who forgot who elected them and what values their supporters expected to see implemented in Washington. -- Newt Gingrich, 11-13-2006

No, it
was an attack on my credibility and on my sincerity. The fact you used a rhetorical question to accomplish that goal is a moot point.
My source wasn't irrelevant at all; showing how one Republican who attacks another (NG) can be found wanting is entirely "on par" with the spirit of FR.

Yes, and I thought about that before I posted. What I mean is that Newt, who himself may be among the “oh, it’s impossible” crowd, is looking for two out of three here: pressure the employers, build a fence. In his world, that’s all that’s possible, and he’s on record in this video saying that’s what he wants to see happen.

Yeah, I’ve seen that one around the last few days. Always saying things like, “It’ll pass, you’d better get used to it”, and threatening the “strength of the Federal Government” to deal with those of us who disagree with this bill...

I did not threaten the strength of the Federal Government to deal with those who disagree with the bill. I simply pointed out that any attempts of vigilantism or civil unrest on the part of the xenophobes will be met with an overwhelming Federal response as well they should.
